Saint Augustine’s magazine is back, and we’re looking for the person who will put the city’s finest businesses on its pages.

Old City Magazine is a boutique print and digital publication celebrating art, culture, people and living on the Historic Coast, led by a publisher with more than 20 years in Saint Augustine media. Our readers are affluent, educated, and loyal to local businesses. Our advertisers are independently owned restaurants, professional practices, spas, boutiques and galleries: established businesses with the budgets to reach that audience.

A natural fit

A polished, self-motivated professional with high-end sales experience: a real estate agent, insurance or mortgage professional, or other seasoned salesperson looking for steady extra income between big closings and a reason to be out in the community.

New to sales? We still want to hear from you. If you have a creative mind and want to learn the advertising business from the street up, this is a great way in. You’ll meet business owners, learn what they need, and work with our creative team on spec ads and concepts that win them over. Experience is preferred, but curiosity and drive count.

The fun part

Discovery. You’ll find the places locals love and visitors rarely stumble onto: the coffee shop with a line of regulars, the restaurant people recommend in a whisper, the boutique tucked between the busy streets. We respect and appreciate tourism, but this magazine is for the people who live here.

Creative backing

You run your own territory and your own schedule. Some clients have advertised in this community for years; others are just opening their doors. Our creative team brings the ideas, and you bring the tools to meet every client’s advertising needs: ad design, photography, digital animation, and complete branding when a business is ready for it.

Compensation

20% commission to start on collected sales, increasing with performance and longevity. Independent contractor (1099).

You bring

Sales experience, ideally high-end or luxury; media sales a plus; confidence with business owners; and a genuine love for Saint Augustine.
